Welcome to Motus Research LLC. By accessing this website, placing an order, or receiving shipments, you explicitly agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before completing a transaction.

1. Research Use Only (RUO) Notice & Regulatory Compliance

• All products supplied by Motus Research LLC are distributed strictly and exclusively for in-vitro laboratory experimentation, scientific research, and analytical testing.
• Non-Clinical Guarantee: Under no circumstances are our products intended, formulated, labeled, or packaged for human consumption, clinical treatment, veterinary administration, diagnostic procedures, or home use.
• Prohibited Communication: Any customer inquiry, order note, or correspondence indicating or implying personal use will result in the immediate cancellation of the transaction, forfeiture of access, and permanent blacklisting from our systems.

2. Purchaser Qualifications & Handling Affirmation

By submitting an order, the purchaser affirmatively warrants and certifies that:

• You are a verified researcher, affiliated with an academic or analytical laboratory facility, or are at least 21 years of age possessing the equipment, safety training, and capabilities required to safely handle research products.
• You will adhere to all relevant institutional, local, state, and federal biosecurity guidelines and OSHA safety standards when handling, storing, and disposing of laboratory products.
• You will not resell, repackage, or distribute these products for clinical or household use.

3. Return Policy

• If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product for a full refund or exchange. Returns are accepted within 30 days of the purchase date. Items must be returned in the original, unopened condition received.
• Transit Damage: Any parcel received with exterior physical damage or compromised vial seals must be documented with clear photographic evidence and reported to info@motusresearch.org within 48 hours of carrier-confirmed delivery for replacement consideration. Monetary refunds are not issued for damaged shipments.

4. Payments and Dispute Resolution

• Authorized Payment Rails: Transactions must be processed through the authorized automated electronic payment rails provided at checkout.
• Chargebacks & Fraud: Initiating an unauthorized credit card chargeback, dispute, or payment clawback for verified-delivered merchandise constitutes fraud and a material breach of this agreement. Disputed accounts will be forwarded to collections alongside delivery receipts, IP logs, and affirmative terms acceptance records.
• Billing Inquiries: Before initiating an inquiry with your card issuer or financial institution, you agree to contact info@motusresearch.org to resolve reconciliation discrepancies.

5. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Motus Research LLC, its members, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the handling, storage, misuse, or application of its laboratory products. The purchaser agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Motus Research LLC against any claims, liabilities, or legal actions arising from any use of products outside their explicit Research Use Only classification.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
